Client : Advanced Interior Solutions
Advanced Interior Solutions is a company that designs, plans and executes office fit-outs and refurbishments for blue-chip companies around the UK. When Advanced approached us they were preparing to bid for a number of major contracts that would be crucial to their business growth plans. They wanted to make sure that they gave the best possible impression at pitch meetings. This meant that they had to punch above their weight and compete with much larger companies pitching for the same contract.
This task came in two parts. First we had to create a marketing video that would introduce Advanced, their track record and the benefits of working with them to high value potential clients. We then had to find a way of distributing this video, ensuring that it reached key decision makers at these target clients.
What we did
We scripted, storyboarded, shot, and produced a hero video and a number of case study videos for Advanced Interior Solutions. The case study videos are specifically designed to appeal to different people in the decision-making process. The hero video takes all of these elements and sums them up in one package.
Crucially, the hero video (above) is benefits led and describes the advantages to the client of working with Advanced Interior Solutions, and how the work will benefit their business. Rather than describing exactly what Advanced do the video focuses on positive outcomes, such as the ability to recruit and retain better staff in the new working environment.
The case study videos are slightly more technical and are designed for businesses undertaking specific refurbishments. The video above is an excellent example and is aimed at companies that want to boost their environmental credentials during their refurbishment project. It also reflects well on Advanced’s ability to take onboard the specific needs of clients when running a project.
The next step was effectively distributing the videos to potential clients. To achieve this we produced 40 video brochures at a cost of £65 each and loaded the videos on to them. The brochures are reusable and the video can be easily updated by the client. They can be brought to meetings or sent to clients through the post as a piece of bulky mail.
Since Advanced Interior Solutions started using video brochures they have not lost a single pitch. The company is extremely targeted about which video it uses for which pitch, ensuring that its message is tailored to the potential client.
The videos have helped advanced to win over £250,000 of new business from an investment of under £6,000 – a return on investment of over 4,000%. The flexibility of the footage we shot and the video brochures themselves make it easy and affordable for Advanced to commission new videos as their business evolves.
